I was able to play a couple of sessions yesterday at micro limit stakes on Pokerhost. I played for a couple of hours at a .10/.20 stake Hold ‘Em limit game. The initial buy-in was 4.00 and I ran that down to .80 before adding another 3.00. After three hours of play I was able to cash out of the game with 13.07, a gain of 6.08 from my initial investment of 7.00. That was a step in the right direction.
Later in the evening I played at the Omaha Hi/Lo .10/.20 Pot limit table where the buy-in was 12.00. After a couple hours of play at these stakes, I was able to cash out at 18.53 for a gain of 6.53. All in all, a good day at these levels. Once I feel more confident about my abilites, I will move back up to the next higher level.
Do you move up or down levels based on your bankroll or your playing results? Do you play more than one type of game so that you can play where the action is? What determines your poker playing choices?
