www.liquidpoker.net! (although I know I've upsold them here before, since the blog post is about it.. I might as well do it again!

Definitely adds to my poker playing experience because they are a smaller community than say the giant (but well respected as it's pretty much the hub of the online poker world) 2+2 forums (I recommend checking out if you haven't) but they still have a wide variety of players from NL2 newbies to players beating 5000NL.. these players will often give advice if you make a thread.

I do have to admit that for a super beginner or internet forum newbie, it is hard to jump into the site though. When I first started playing poker, I found the site to be full of information that didn't really pertain to me and a somewhat elite attitude. This changes as you get used to the site.

Other "problems" I guess would be that it's really at it's core a NLHE site. The "Other Poker Games" section is pretty much all O8 or better. For a limit player like yourself there won't be too many things you'll find (although I'm sure people would still give you advice if you posted hands.) However, staying on the site will improve your NLHE because everyone there is so dedicated to the game. It's amazing to see people who play such high stakes engaging with lower stakes players.

Other cool stuff about the site is that they post things like "hand of the week" where they choose some hands played by members and post them on the front page to show the great play. They also keep people updated on WSOP/other poker news.

So overall, I love the site. I wouldnt be anywhere close to my level as a NLHE cash game player if I hadn't found LP.net
